About Us
As our family grew, so did the challenge of planning vacations that everyone could enjoy. With small children of different ages and heights, we quickly realized how confusing it could be to figure out who could ride what at a theme park. Since we loved theme parks, we wanted an easier way to compare rides and destinations so we could choose vacations where the whole family could participate as much as possible.
I’ve always liked to be organized and go into a vacation with a plan, rather than dealing with unnecessary headaches along the way. That’s what inspired us to create Ride Heights—a resource designed to help other families who found themselves in the very same situation.

Your family plan is temporary.
Names stay in your browser and are never sent to Ride Heights. When you ask for results, the site sends only anonymous numeric heights to the Ride Heights application server, uses them in memory to calculate compatibility, and does not save them to a Ride Heights database. Closing or refreshing the page clears the family plan.

A few things worth knowing before you plan.
Does Ride Heights save names or heights?
No family plan is saved by Ride Heights. Names stay in the browser. Anonymous numeric heights are sent only long enough for the application server to calculate results and are not written to a Ride Heights database.
Why can a park measurement differ from home?
Different floors, posture, footwear, measuring tools, and rounding can create small differences. If someone is close to a minimum, build your plan assuming the attraction operator may measure differently.
Does a green result guarantee that someone can ride?
No. The planner evaluates height information. Other safety, restraint, age, supervision, accessibility, health, or operational requirements can still apply.
Can attraction requirements change?
Yes. Parks can revise requirements or operating procedures. Ride Heights includes update information and official-source links, but travelers should verify important requirements directly before and during a trip.
